Craig David

With 4.5 million single sales and 290 million single streams in the last year alone - this is the most talked about return to music in decades!

It is 18 years since his debut album, the critically acclaimed 'Born To Do It', was at Number 1 all over the world, selling 1.5 million copies in the United States alone and spawning Billboard Chart Hits '7 Days', 'Fill Me In' and 'Walking Away'. In 2016 his latest album, 'Following My Intuition' stormed straight to the top spot in the UK Official Albums Chart, and was in the top 10 chart in over 30 countries. A headline UK arena tour followed and sold-out in seconds and he returns this summer to the iconic Ibiza Rocks for another landmark 12 week residency with his world renowned DJ show TS5.

With his single 'I Know You' featuring Bastille becoming a top 5 hit in the UK charts and his recent album 'The Time Is Now' reaching number 2, it would be an understatement to say that the last year has been anything short of monumental for Craig.

French Montana

The GRAMMY Award-nominated multiplatinum rap icon, influencer, and philanthropist just joined the Billion Club, as his triple-platinum smash 'Unforgettable' [feat. Swae Lee] crossed 1 billion cumulative worldwide streams. It's featured on his second full-length album, 'JUNGLE RULES' [Coke Boys Music/Bad Boy Entertainment/Epic Records]. Meanwhile, 'No Shopping' [feat. Drake] and 'Lockjaw' [feat. Kodak Black] both go RIAA platinum stateside.

In late 2011, he signed to both P. Diddy's Bad Boy and Rick Ross' Maybach Music imprints in a unique joint venture. His 2012 single, 'Pop That', would be the first release for the united labels, while 2013 saw the release of his debut album, Excuse My French. A series of mixtapes, each with an increasing R&B influence, brought Montana to 2016, when he dropped Casino Life 2: Brown Bag Legend. The mixtape included the hit single 'Moses' featuring Chris Brown and Migos.

Ghetts

Having had a slow, steady build is the best. says Ghetts. The actual best. Having a cult following means that if someone says something good to me, I can know they mean it. I've never been that guy that's hyped. So when someone has decided that I'm the best, they're using their own frame of influence and came to this conclusion. I've never been pushed on anyone in this industry. I've always been around artists that are bigger than me. So when you come to this conclusion - and that's what my fanbase is doing - that makes me smile. Because I know that is just as pure as it can get.

Ghetts's articulate and upbeat assessment of his position is about as perfect a summation of his position in UK music as you could ask for. This is a rapper who came through in the first wave of grime, and has consistently earned the undying respect of his peers and hardcore fans - but who has also exhibited strategic brilliance and hard graft throughout his career, relying consistently on wit and talent over the vagaries of fashion, bringing him to a point today where he is not only making some of the best music of his life, but personally is in a position of acceptance and acute self-knowledge.

NSG

NSG. It's a simple yet vast acronym, seeping with potential. It's a lifestyle, a movement, the group say. At first it stood for No Sleep Gang, then Non Stop Grinding. At the moment it means Never Stop Growing but that could change too. As member Kruddz explains, that's why they refer to the name's meaning as a lifestyle – it echoes what's happening to NSG in the present moment.

Past and present names aside, the group reflects the most exciting components of the current UK music scene: a lively diasporic afro bashment sound and a larger-than-life personality, all rolled into one six member group. Comprised of members Kruddz, Mxjib, Mojo, OGD, Dope and Papii Abz, they've been bubbling under the crest of producer Jae5 and Mercury Nominated artist J Hus since before either of those acts broke, slowly crafting their sound together.

Where do they want to go? “Global domination, baby,” they say. Right now we're loading up the artillery. They said no nuclear weapons and we didn't take that in. We're loading them up. We're not looking on a United Kingdom thing, we're looking on a global thing. Never Stop Growing indeed.

Tory Lanez

A near reverential dedication to truth is the foundation Tory Lanez' artistic identity. Unabashedly introspective and keenly observant of the outside world in equal measure, the rapper born Daystar Peterson in Toronto, Canada, spent his early adolescence honing the sure-footed, narrative-led lyrics that have become synonymous with his singular style of rap. Lanez sophomore studio album, Memories Don't Die, comes as a follow up to his 2016 debut, I Told You, which was met with critical success, and featured the number one, Double Platinum singles, Say It and LUV.

With practiced finesse, Lanez matter of factly spins larger-than-life tales of betrayal at the hands of friends and finding solidarity in former foes. Yet even while working within the comfort of his own personal history, Lanez is never monotonous. Instead he is positively effusive, slinking between moods and pivotal moments as if trying to reclaim and preserve the memories seared into his soul. There are moments when he thumps his chest, claiming the spoils of a hard-won victory, and proudly embracing his self-perceived status of underdog and voluntary outcast. At other times he is unapologetically vulnerable, falling down the rabbit hole of reflection with an unguarded transparency that resonates with the emotion of a distant moment.
